A thinner shaft will be more repulsive, but reduces the resilience against bending. Stiffening the graphite improves resilience but can make the shaft fragile. By installing NANOPREME in the whole shaft, YONEX has generated more repulsion and created a more resilient shaft. NANOPREME has allowed us to develop the thinnest shaft in YONEX history.VT80 is more stable compared to conventional racquets due to the presence of NANOPREME in the shaft. When bending and releasing two racquets under the same force, the VT80 racquet rebounds almost twice as far as a conventional racquet does in the same length of time (0.018 seconds).
