World No. 1 Lee Chong Wei (VTZF, SHB01LTD) participated in his first tournament after the birth of his son at YONEX-SUNRISE India Open 2013. After winning the final against Kenichi Tago (ARC-ZS) of Japan, he took the first title as a father. A teenage sensation Ratchanok Inthanon (ARC-FB, SHB01-LX) won her first Superseries title and she established the record to become the youngest ever Superseries winner as 18 years and 82 days old.
