Monaco Makes Great Start With VCORE Xi

Date
03 October 2012

On Day 3 of Rakuten Open Japan, Juan Monaco (VCORE Xi 98) stood on the centre court of Ariake Tennis Forest Park for its opening match. He faced the qualifier Grigor Dimitrov in the match. Last week Juan played in Malaysia to win the title, and his great performance continued, defeating Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets by 6-2, 6-1. Now Juan is playing with YONEX’s new VCORE Xi 98 racquet. According to him, this new racquet offers players more spin. He liked the new racquet after trying it for the first time, especially the spin and control of the forehand shots. We are confident that he will win another title in Asia with VCORE Xi. Don’t miss his next round!

To maintain his good condition, Juan practiced for about an hour yesterday. After practicing, he responded with smiles to the requests from many fans for his autograph. He didn’t look tired and communicated with fans full-heartedly.

During this tournament, YONEX is exhibiting its products and introducing them to visitors. The new VCORE Xi series  model is the booth’s main attraction, and our staff is promoting products while wearing VCORE Xi t-shirts.

In the second round of men’s singles, No. 7 seed Stanislas Wawrinka (VCORE Tour 97SHT308EX) faces Jeremy Chardy this afternoon.
