US Open 2013 Singles Draws Revealed

The 2013 US Open men’s and women’s singles draws were released on the official website yesterday. There are thirteen YONEX professionals who were directly accepted into the main draws, including six seeded players. 23-year-old Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis (EZONE Xi 98, PTGSPN), who became the quarterfinalist at Winston-Salem Open this week, faces the world No.1 and top seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the opening match.
The main draws are kicked off next Monday, August 26th, and all match-ups in the first round of YONEX players are as follows:

In the second round of the US Open qualifying tournament, Go Soeda (VCORE Xi 98, PTGSPN) defeated Miloslav Mecir of Slovakia in straight sets [7-5, 6-3]. Also Andrea Hlavackova (RQiS 2 Tour, PTGP125) played steadily to overcome Austria’s Tamira Paszek by 6-2 2-6 6-2, capturing 71% of her first serve points. They face the final round to get the ticket for main draw today.
