The Championships, Wimbledon will start next Monday, June 25th and run until July 8th.

In the gentlemen’s singles, Juan Monaco (VCORE98D) is seeded as No. 15, Bernard Tomic (VCORE98D) is No. 20 and Stanislas Wawrinka (VCORETour97) is No. 25. On the ladies’ side, Caroline Wozniacki (VCORE100S) is No. 7, Angelique Kerber (VCORE100S) is No. 8, Ana Ivanovic (EZONE Xi 98) is No. 14, Sabine Lisicki (VCORETour97) is No. 15, Maria Kirilenko (EZONE Xi 98, PTGP125) is No. 17 and Zheng Jie (EZONE Xi 98, PTGSPN) is No. 25.

Many players are now playing in the qualifying tournament this week for a shot at the main draw. In the ladies’ singles, No. 14 seed Coco Vandeweghe (EZONE Xi) of the US and Yurika Sema (VCORE100S) of Japan advanced to the final round.

YONEX released its London Model of tennis wear for this season, and Stanislas Wawrinka will wear TW1615EX and TW2108EX on the court this Wimbledon.

By using the latest technology in sports apparel, YONEX’s men’s and women’s clothing keeps players’ body temperature lower than conventional clothing, allowing players to perform at their best, whatever the court condition.

YONEX clothing intercepts infrared radiation and approximately 92% of ultraviolet rays, minimizing heat build-up in clothing during play.

By using impregnated Xylitol—a completely natural technology—YONEX’s VERYCOOL clothing absorbs heat and perspiration, providing a significant cooling effect during exercise. No matter what the temperature, VERYCOOL lowers body heat by 3degrees C for cooler play.
