[Topix]@c2009/10/22
Yonex received a comment about the new racquet, ArcSaber Z-Slash, from Chris Adcock, a young English man.
Chris Adcock is just 20 years old and one of the successful menfs doubles players in England. He won 12 notional titles while he was a junior player, making his record the most successful English Junior Badminton history. He is now sitting in 22nd place in the menfs doubles and mixed doubles and looking to win gold medals in the London 2012 Olympic Games held in his hometown.
Chris Adcockfs comment to ArcSaber Z-Slash below:
-The new Yonex ArcSaber Z-Slash, feels great to play with. It has good balance throughout the racket which helps me with my defensive stokes. It is light and very fast through the air and means I can produce more power with all my overhead strokes which has made a great difference to my game.
Feel ArcSaber Z-Slash!!

BECOME A MASTER OF SPEED

[Topix]@c2009/09/19
Yonex has created a badminton racquet to keep up with the ever increasing speed of the badminton game.
By focusing on our flagship technologies Yonex has created the ArcSaber Z-Slash, a new model allowing players with an aggressive playing style, to smash with the fastest swing speeds possible.
The "Z-Slash" is the first of a new generation of slim racquets that, just like professional athletes, carry no extra fat for the ultimate in performance.
The "Z-Slash" features three dimensions of technology to bring out a playerfs maximum potential. In testing one of the worldfs leading players achieved a smash speed of 414 km/h.*
Why not experience these amazing smash speeds for yourself?
Z-Slash: 'Z' is the third unknown quantity after 'X' and 'Y'.
'Slash' represents the lightning as the racquet cuts through the air.
You can smash with immense speed!!

Players' comments for NS and ARC Series!

[Topix]@c2009/07/16
Today we are introducing the racquets from the Nanospeed and Arcsaber series.
Here are some comments from Yonex contracted players about the NS9900 racquets and ARC7 and 10.
NANOSPEED SERIES (NS)
The NS is an ultra-lightweight racquet that is thinner, stronger and more stable than an ordinary racquet for maximum power and speed.
Kido Markis told us, gI like how I can hit fast drives with the NS9900. It also handles well."
ARCSABER(ARC)
The ARC series provides durability and the benefits of improved flexibility allowing the frame to return back to its original shape faster. At the point of impact the elasticity of the frame holds the shuttle on the string-bed for enhanced control.
ARC7
Hendra Setiwan reviews ARC 7, "ARC7 handles well, especially when you are on defense."
Widianto Nova also told us about ARC7. "ARC7 is great. The weight and balance are perfect."
ARC10
Peter Gade and Hidayat Tauflk gave us comments for ARC10. Both said "The quality of ARC10 overall is excellent." Mohd Zakry added a comment about it. "ARC 10 has elasticity and it handles well. It especially has great maneuverability."

Players' Comments for AT Series!!

[Topix]@c2009/07/14
Players' Comments for AT Series!!
Yonex contracted players gave us some comments about their racquets. Above all, today, we would like to introduce the comments for AT Series.
AT Series develops players' much more powerful shots. Yonex technology, "Power Armor System" integrates the principals of gravitational acceleration and the high-replusion properties of Titanuim. Armortec racquets generate more speed, better face stability and provide a robust 'metalic feel' on impact.
Lee Chong Wei (MAS) and Santoso Simon (INA) said about their racquets, "Armortec 900 Power is great and comfortable to use it." They seem to really like it. Especially, Santoso said that he could feel a good balance with Armortec 900 Power.
Meanwhile, Women's Singles Maria Kristin Yulianti (INA) is using Armortec 900 Technique. She explained her racquet as "AT 900 T satisfies me at the point of its weight, elasticity, and balance."
Ahsan Mohammad also gave us comment for Armortec 900 Technique. ""AT900T is the best quality ever because of its handling and power of smash. Itfs perfect racquet so far."
Please try these racuqets to achieve more powerful shots!!

MORE IMPACT...MORE POWER ~ ArcSaber Series

[Topix]@c2008/09/09
Today, badminton players have to play more agressive and more speedy. However, is it enough? What is the most important thing for players?
It is that they can feel that the impact can be transfered to their hand through the racquet at the exact moment, and they can come up with next idea for the next attack. This is the very racquet for a winner, "ArcSaber".
How to reach the ArcSaber series
Yonex racquets development department has been thinking about the "Ideal racquet". As the results, they found that it should be the racquet which gives a player "the exact information" of each shot.
Then, they decided the concept of the series as "The racquet which maintains the undiminished replusion and makes it possible to feel the exact information".
Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube establishes both power & control
ArcSaber series adopted the new Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube for the racquet frame. It is necessary for the advenced players to create the repulsion power which comes after holding time. Generally, these two capabilities conflict each other.
Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube make it possible to control and attack with flexibility and replusion power.
A member of Yonex racquets development department was kind enough to answer our questions.
-Where did "ArcSaber" come from?
Arc: The shape of archery, Bend & Release
Saber: Well-honed sword, Enables Pinpointed Attack
-What do you think about that many players are using Arcsaber series all over the world?
We were worried about producing the badminton racquet which goes the different way from the trend which is more focused on the speed. However, we have never given up developping the racquet because we believed what players need for their victory is the maneuverability.
Now, many world's top players are using the Arcsaber series and our concern has gone. We are very pleased.
We wish more and more players will get the victories with ArcSaber series.
-Please give a message to badminton players who are using the ArcSaber series.
As we mentioned before, the strong point of Arcsaber series is the sense of holding the shuttle cock. I think players should have felt it already. In addition, players will succeed to hit more powerful shot when they hit the shuttle as if crushing the shuttle cock.
If you like to hit the powerful smash, please try to swing more boldly.

YONEX Nanoscience ~ NANOSPEED Series

[Topix]@c2008/08/08
Our development goal for the Nanospeed series was to create a highly manoeuvrable, head light racquet. This meant reducing the weight of the frame, within very tight limits, without compromising its durability. The solution was to use a nanoscience material called Fullerene.
With Fullerene incorporated into the shaft Yonex was able to reduce the weight whilst maintaining durability. This weight saving was then transferred into the grip to create the head light racquet. The result - goal achieved with the creation of the Nanospeed series.
*Fullerene
Sixty 0.7 nanometre atoms are combined with each other in a Soccer ball type configuration. This nano manipulation increases the tightness of the carbon fibres.
Our development guru explained why the Nanospeed series was created.
"In todayfs era of high speed badminton player feed back indicated a demand for even more racquet control and receiving action. Furthermore they are looking for quicker repulsion to an opponentfs attack, enabling them to change a defence into a counter offence."
"The performance characteristics of the Nanospeed series meet this demand, especially its ability to enhance receiving control. Through increased racquet speed and the headlight structure wefre able to provide players with means to overcome the fastest of smashes and drives."

POWERFUL for SPEED!! ~ ARMORTEC Series

[Topix]@c2008/07/24
Yonex achieved to create Armortec series with a head-weighted effect that gives more smash speed.
The pared-corner construction of Armortec racquet is a unique Yonex structural feature that makes this series lightweight, controllable and highly manoeuvrable.
In addition, we adopted the Power Armor system for this series. It is enable to shot more powerfully with integrating gravity and high repulsion. The edge of the frame top is reduced to minimize distortion and maximize control. As a result, Armortec series can generate more speed, better face stability and a strong feel on impact.
We asked the developer about the specific features of Armortec series.
Q1. What is the concept of this series?
A1. For a long time, we have been thinking top players need something more powerful and more speedy, becasue badminton has evolved all the time. That's why we thought of these racquets.
Q2. What kind of players do you recommend to use these racquets?
A2. As you know, Armortec series' racquets are used by many powerful players. These are more suitable for powerful players.
Q3. Please give a message to badminton players all over the world.
A3. Thank you very much for using Yonex racquets.
We would like to continue to do our best to improve our technology and to produce amazing and valuable racquets which for the worlds' top players.

YONEX CLOTHING

[Topix]@c2008/07/08
Yonex has been producing a lot of clothing and they have been worn by many players in major tournamnets all over the world. We interviewed Yonex wear planners. You will find what they think and what they want to express on the wears.
Q1. What do you express on Yonex clothing?
A1. "Battle to the line"
We have been designed Yonex clothing focusing on 3 key words, "Thechnical", "Powerful" and "Speedy". We associate these 3 words with the various playing secenes to the line.
Our designs remind us of the "Line" sensuously.
Q2. What prompted you to produce these kinds of clothing, like "Very COOL" and "Heat Capsule."
A2. Very Cool: Many players used to suffer from heat attack during the summer tournaments. So we thought it was very important to provide better conditions for the players, and we developed "Very Cool".
Heat Capsule: In winter, players had to wear layers of clothes but it could not promote their movements. We developed "Heat Capsule" which warms each player's body even if they wear light clothing.
We are carrying out the developments of these features considering players' playing styles.
Q3. What do you feel when you see the players are wearing Yonex clothing in the tournaments?
A3. It is always a joy to see the players wearing Yonex clothing.
And we imagine the game scenes when we design our clothing.
Thank you for giving us a valuable story!!
Please check not olny players but also YONEX CLOTHING in the follow on tournaments!!
