Chan Peng Soon (ARC11) & Goh Liu Ying (NR700RP)(MAS) 2-0 (21-18,21-17) Pakkawat Vilailak & Kunchala Voravichitchaikul (THA)

Thailand duo has stormed into the first game, leading the first half by series of powerful smashes from Pakkawat. After both duos reached score15-15, Malaysian pair displayed their powerful team play and combination, sending smashes by Chan and forecourt killing shots by Goh. Malaysian pair won the first game at 21-18.

In the second game, Malaysian duo made a good start and earned 4 consecutive points from 1-1 to 4-1. Although both duos seemed to be physically worn out and exhausted, Malaysian pair continued attacking patiently and closed the second game 21-17 victory.
