YONEX Players in New Clothing at Guangzhou

07 August 2013

At the BWF World Championships 2013 in Guangzhou, China, YONEX players appeared on court in new clothing.

No. 1 seed in the men’s singles, Lee Chong Wei (VTZF, SHB01LTD) had a good start with 21-11 21-15 winning against Scott Evans from Ireland. Chong Wei was wearing new deep blue sleeveless shirt, 12065EX and crystal red men’s shorts 15025EX.

Indonesia’s Tommy Sugiarto (ARC11, SHB01LTD), who is No. 8 seed, was playing with black 12063EX. No. 11 seed Marc Zwiebler (ARC11) from Germany wore black 10098EX. Tommy won the tough match against Danish Hans-Kristian Vittinghus with 21-18 15-21 21-17 and Marc also had a close match against Valeriy Atrashchenkov of Ukraine and defeated him by 21-15 18-21 21-14.

To keep these clothing clean and fresh on court, YONEX uses the antibacterial deodorant layer on each fiber. The antibacterial liquid prevents bacteria breeding that can cause clothes to smell.

Today August 7th, seeded star players such as Saina Nehwal(NR700RP), Ratchanok Inthanon (ARC-FB, SHB01-LX), Mathias Boe(VT80) and Carsten Mogensen(ARC-FB) will be in action. Don’t miss top players’ fantastic play!
