Lisicki Impressed with VCORE Tour’s Offense
- 29 June 2012
We interviewed new YONEX player, Sabine Lisicki (VCORE Tour 97) at Wimbledon. She is now playing in Wimbledon 2012, and has advanced to the third round. We asked for her impressions on her new racquet, the VCORE Tour.
“I’m very happy to play with VCORE Tour, it is very powerful racquet and it gives me a lot of spin which is needed. I'm aggressive player and I liked it from the beginning from the first hit on. I really like to hit the serve with it. And it has a good sweet spot as well, which is important because you never hit every single ball in the middle of the racquet.”
Sabine also talked about the racquet’s ISOMETRIC shape, “YONEX is known as a square head shape and I was playing with it when I was a junior and I still remember that I liked it from the beginning. Because of the head shape, it has a bigger sweet spot as well, it’s just the perfect for me. That’s why I switched.”
According to Sabine, the VCORE Tour is ideal for someone who is looking for power, plays aggressive and likes to serve well. And she described the racquet as an “extension of my arm” because of its comfortable feeling.
The video interview with Sabine will be uploaded soon.
