Maria Kirilenko wins Doubles Final in Miami

Russian tennis player Maria Kirilenko (EZONE Xi 98, PTGP125)  and her partner, Nadia Petrova captured the Sony Ericsson Open Doubles title in Miami on Sunday, defeating sixth seeded Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci with a 7-6(0), 4-6, 10-4 victory.

After the Russian pair lost the second set, Maria and Nadia took the lead in the match’s tiebreaker, closing the game and winning the title in one hour and 52 minutes.

Juan Monaco (VCORE 98D) fought against top seed Novak Djokovic (SRB) in the semifinal on Friday evening, March 30th. Juan continued to show us his solid performance in the second set, but he unfortunately couldn’t reach the final.
