Maria Kirilenko wins WTA Champs Doubles Title

Maria Kirilenko (EZONE Xi 98, PTGP125) and her partner fellow Russian Nadia Petrova won their biggest WTA doubles title at the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships in Istanbul on Sunday.
The Russian team defeated Sara Errani/Roberta Vinci—the first qualifying team of the tournament—with 1-6, 6-3,10-4 in the semifinal. In the final, they met No. 2 seeds Czech Andrea Hlavackova (RQiS 2 Tour, PTGP125)/Lucie Hradecka and captured the title with a 6-1, 6-4 victory—defending two break points on their serve.
Maria and her partner have now won four doubles titles in total, the other three in Cincinnati 2008, Moscow 2009 and Miami this year.
