Monaco Wins Malaysian Open with New VCORE Xi

With the new VCORE Xi, Argentina’s Juan Monaco received his fourth ATP World Tour title in 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.


After defeating No. 3 seed Kei Nishikori by 6-2 2-6 7-6(4) in the semifinals, No. 2 seed Juan faced No. 7 seed Julien Benneteau of France. It was tough match, taking over three hours to finish. Despite the match being so long, Juan maintained very aggressive performance, making 20 break chances, and finally achieving 5 breaks to overcome his opponent. The score was 7-5 4-6 6-3.

This year’s ATP World Tour is approaching its climax. Juan is aiming to end the year within the top 10 ranking. Keep your eyes on his matches during the last two months of this year.


Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber have started using the new VCORE Xi 100 since the beginning of Toray Pan Pacific Japan Open. Angelique reached the final four with her new VCORE Xi racquet. It was Angelique's 10th time advancing to the semifinals in 2012’s WTA tournaments.
