Career
Ena Shibahara is one of Japan's top-ranked doubles player. The Japanese-American played college tennis at UCLA where she was an All-American.
After two years at the University, Shibahara turned professional, focusing primarily on the doubles circuit. In her first full year on Tour, Shibahara ascended to World No. 31 to end the 2019 season.
In 2021, Shibahara represented Japan at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Later that year she made her first appearance at the year-end WTA Finals.
Shibahara won her first Grand Slam title at Roland-Garros in 2022 in mixed doubles with partner Wesley Koolhof.
