“Ridiculous,” Rinky Hijikata said of winning his first Grand Slam title at the 2023 Australian Open when he partnered a fellow Australian in a new, wild card doubles team. Hijikata is also an excellent singles player – he made the fourth round of the 2023 US Open and has been as high as No. 70 in the ATP Rankings.
