Rise Kudo
Snowboarding

Career

Influenced by her father, she began halfpipe snowboarding at the age of three. From her junior years, she achieved consecutive victories, and in the 2020-21 season, at just 11 years old, she was selected for the national team, becoming the youngest female member. She made a spectacular debut in senior competition in November 2022, securing a decisive victory. In 2023, competing in the All-Japan Championships as a first-year junior high student, she successfully executed the challenging "Cab 1080," a feat few female riders can perform, and achieved the youngest victory in the competition. She is highly anticipated as the next-generation ace of the Japanese snowboarding.
