Day 1: Team Yonex at the 2017 Toray Pan Pacific Tournament

The 2017 Toray Pan Pacific tournament is in full swing in Tokyo, Japan. Japan local hero and 2016 Toray Pan Pacific finalist, Naomi Osaka (EZONE DR 98) and Angelique Kerber (VCORE SV 100) met in the first round. Kerber stole the show with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over the Japan home favorite.



Women’s doubles contender, Daria Gavrilova (EZONE 100) made her way through the first round, equipped with the new EZONE racquet. Gavrilova and her partner Daria Kasatkina fought for the win, with a 1-6, 7-5, 10-7 finish. Chinese player Qiang Wang (VCORE SV 98) shut out Kristina Mladenovic for an impressive 6-0, 6-0 win on day 1.

The first round continues on day 2, as Caroline Garcia (VCORE SV 100) is set to play Aliaksandra Sasnovich. Cheer on Team EZONE’s Magdalena Rybarikova and Daria Gavrilova on day 2 of women’s singles.
