EZONE GT MAX Driver –Featuring the lightweight yet firm REXIS KAIZA-LIGHT Shaft

TOKYO, Japan – Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to introduce the new EZONE GT MAX Driver, the latest addition to the EZONE GT lineup used by Team Yonex's Akie and Chisato Iwai. Designed explicitly for average golfers seeking increased distance, this driver is paired with the REXIS KAIZA-LIGHT Graphite Shaft, a lightweight yet firm shaft. Both will be available in late March 2025.

The EZONE GT MAX Driver features a new “StrikeSpeed Carbon” construction and advanced 2G-Namd™ Speed carbon technology, which provides faster rebound and greater resilience for enhanced ball speed.

Adding to the series' previous "Type-S" and "Type-D" models, the "MAX" version offers:

Larger Head Design: Provides greater confidence at address.

Minimized Distance Loss: Reduces the impact of off-center hits, making it ideal for golfers with inconsistent strike patterns.

Vibrant Color Options: This option includes Akie Iwai's choice of "Turquoise Blue" and Chisato Iwai's preferred "Magenta," adding a personalized touch to your game.

The REXIS KAIZA-LIGHT Graphite Shaft incorporates high-strength materials like 2G-Namd™ Speed, ultra-thin multi-layered graphite, and Nanometric DR, enabling quick recovery and improved stability during swings. Its firm and steady design alleviate issues commonly associated with lightweight shafts, such as excessive flex, allowing golfers to swing confidently and maximize their potential.

Models with the EZONE GT MAX head and REXIS KAIZA-LIGHT Graphite shaft will also be available. Experience the innovation firsthand!

INNOVATION

EZONE GT Driver

1. Adoption of New StrikeSpeed Carbon Structure

The new "StrikeSpeed Carbon" structure has been adopted. Incorporating the advanced graphite "2G-Namd™ Speed," which produces a quick snap-back and high resilience, into the sole makes achieving high initial velocity even on off-center hits possible.

2. The “Vertical Laser Milling Face” is adopted to improve straightness

Laser milling in the vertical direction of the faces reduces the tilt of the spin axis and improves directional stability, which helps increase the average flying distance

This is also used for fairway woods and Hybrids.

3. Improved reassurance at Address with a Larger-Looking Head Design

The EZONE GT MAX Driver improves reassurance at address by making the entire head appear larger.

4. The lineup of 3 Head Types

MAX , Type-S , Type-D

REXIS KAIZA-LIGHT Graphite Shaft

Lightweight Shaft in the 30g Range with Moderate Stiffness and a Solid Feel

Despite being lightweight, it has moderate stiffness and a solid feel, allowing for a full swing. It compensates for distance loss and allows for even greater distance.
