Hawaii, USA – Hyo Joo Kim (KOR) captured her fifth LPGA Tour title on Saturday at the Hoakalei Country Club.
Hyo Joo Kim went into the final’s day with a three-stroke advantage but saw her lead drop to one after she bogeyed the par-3 at the 17th hole. She quickly recovered, executing a superior pitch off the green at hole 18, leaving herself a 2-foot birdie putt and capturing the victory. “I'm proud of that shot,” said Kim. “Maybe I made a lot of people sit on the edge of their seats, so I felt great about it.” as stated in LPGA Communications.
