Introducing the Yonex REXIS HARDCORE Shafts and EZONE TP-F1C Putter

Yonex Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the REXIS HARDCORE shafts specifically for putters. Made at Yonex’s Niigata manufacturing headquarters and launching in late October 2018, the shafts feature an innovative construction that combines our proprietary graphite from the REXIS series with steel.

The REXIS HARDCORE shaft will debut in the new EZONE TP-F1C putter that is the latest addition to the EZONE TP series, used by multiple tour pros, which promises to “sink more than 90% of one-meter putts.”

The new REXIS HARDCORE shafts combine 80 ton, ultra-high elasticity graphite with a steel shaft, to take advantage of the strengths of both materials. The result is a unique shaft that is 10% harder than a conventional steel putter shaft, which also has high torque and excellent vibration dampening characteristics, resulting in a straighter, more stable putting stroke.

The new EZONE TP-F1C putter is developed on the Tri-principle theory which states that - provided the club face is square at impact - any stroke which falls within the 5.61° marks delineated on the back of the club head will find the cup. Built with the EZONE TP-F1B’s head shape, vertically milled face and Fibonacci curve design*3, but adopting a new crank neck which keeps the face behind the shaft, the TP-F1C benefits golfers who tend to push their putts to the right.

INNOVATION

1.    Combining the strengths of graphite and steel in an innovative, proprietary structure

Combining 80 ton, ultra-high elasticity graphite with steel creates a shaft that’s harder than steel, with stronger torque, and more stable distance and direction. Graphite absorbs vibration and leads to improved shot feeling. Available in red, blue and black.

2.    Introducing the first crank neck putter in the EZONE range

The EZONE TP range of putters is developed on the Tri-principle Theory, which states that - provided the club face is square at impact - any stroke which falls within the 5.61° marks delineated on the back of the club head will find the cup. The EZONE TP-F1C is the first crank neck putter in that range, with a face placed behind the shaft, helping golfers who tend to push their putts to the right.
