YONEX’s new 18-year-old phenom, Hyo-Joo Kim of Korea, finished at T4th at the LPGA Tour’s LOTTE Championship Presented by J Golf at Ko Olina Golf Club in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Hyo-Joo played consistently throughout the tournament. Her 360yard drive during the second round on Ko Olina Golf Club’s fifth hole was a tournament highlight. The shot made such a big impact that her competitor expressed doubts that Hyo-Joo’s driver conformed to USGA and R&A rules and requested to have the club tested.
