Hyo-Joo Kim Wins Second Consecutive Title at Kumho Tire Ladies Open

19-year-old Korean golfer Hyo-Joo Kim earned her second consecutive title at this year’s Kumho Tire Ladies Open (July 3-5) on the LPGA of Korea Tour. The rising star maintains strong performance with Yonex golf gear.

Hyo-Joo exhibited remarkably stable performance throughout the tournament, boasting a scoring average in the 60s (68.67)—the only competitor to do so. She reached the top spot by the end of Day 2, and on Day 3 managed to stay ahead of 2nd place USLPGA major champion Shanshan Feng with a 4 stroke lead. Hyo-Joo earned her second straight title at the tournament with a final score of 10-under 206. This victory should prove to be a great boost as she prepares for the U.S. Women's Open Championship starting on July 9th.

“I’m so happy to win here again for a second straight year! I have my sights set on the U.S. Women's Open Championship, and I’m going to try my best with Yonex’s golf gear,” commented an overjoyed Hyo-Joo.

Keep your eyes on Hyo-Joo as she takes on the U.S. Women's Open Championship, and the Yonex clubs and shafts that are backing her up.
