The finals of the Malaysia Masters 2018 (Super 500/Kuala Lumpur) took place on the 21st, and players using Yonex equipment, such as Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon with the ASTROX77, commanded four out of the five events.
The new “BWF World Tour” has started this year. Because this tournament corresponds to the Super Series, it brought top athletes together under one roof. The Super Series Finals 2017 champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark conquered men’s singles, while Intanon, who has maintained a fine record since she started using the ASTROX77, dominated women’s singles. In a closely fought final match against the Chinese Taipei World’s No.1, Intanon claimed victory with one powerful smash after another.
In women’s doubles, Denmark’s Christinna Pedersen and Kamilla Rytter Juhl, both wielding DUORA racquets, won every match in straight games.! Additionally, the Super Series Finals 2017 mixed doubles runners-up Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet of Hong Kong, China exhibited their true strength as the No. 2 seeds. It was here too that Ying Suet, making a weapon of intense smashes from her ASTROX, proceeded to dominate their matches.
