Naomi Osaka Leads Team Japan to Fed Cup Success with New REXIS String

Naomi Osaka (EZONE DR 98, POLYTOUR PRO 125/REXIS 130) propelled Japan to a 3-0 victory over India in the league phase of the Fed Cup Asia-Oceania tournament, held in Kazakhstan on February 8th. Naomi faced Karman Kaur Thandi in the first rubber, earning a straight 6-2, 6-2 win over the Indian.



The young Naomi has been using the new Yonex REXIS string since the start of the 2017 season and has been stringing it together with the POLYTOUR PRO to great effect. Her words: “The string allows me to get more control on the ball, and it has more pop when I hit.”

Japan will go on to face the Philippines and China for a shot at the World Group-1 play-off.
