TOKYO — Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the launch of POLYTOUR REV, the newest addition to the POLYTOUR polyester string series.
POLYTOUR REV is an octagonal-shaped string designed for baseliners with medium-to-fast swing speeds. With eight sides, POLYTOUR REV grabs onto the ball at impact for added bite.
SIF (Silicone Oil Infused Filament) Technology – a special manufacturing method that infuses silicone oil deep into the polymers of the string – is incorporated to reduce friction between strings to increase snapback, resulting in faster ball speed and improved spin.
Tested with the 6th-generation VCORE1, POLYTOUR REV features 4.6% more spin, 6.2% more speed, and 13.4% greater net clearance versus a leading competitor model. After a one-month testing period1, POLYTOUR REV also boasts better tension maintenance to give players a more consistent feel for a longer period of time.
POLYTOUR REV is now available in Bright Orange and three different gauges at participating retailers.
