New YONEX tour player Sun-Ju Ahn of Korea won her first JLPGA Tour title while competing at the Yamaha Ladies Open Katsuragi last week. This was Sun-Ju’s first JLPGA tour title since signing with YONEX.
Entering the final round one stroke behind the 3rd Round leader Yumiko Yoshida, Sun-Ju, the 2013 JLPGA Scoring Average Leader concentrated on each shot and showed unmatched power and accuracy with her i-EZONE clubs to shoot a final round 72 (even-par) to finish with a total score of 5-under-par 283.
"I’m happy to win the first title of the season because I had hoped to achieve good results with my new sponsors,” she said when expressing her delight at the press interview.
