With VCORE, Monaco Wins Houston & Kerber Captures Copenhagen Title

At the ATP250 event US Men’s Clay Court Championship, #4 seed wild card Juan Monaco captured the title by defeating #2 seed John Isner, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3. During the final, Juan broke the big server’s service game 3 times.



“Today we played a great final, it was a really tough match. I fought until the last point and finally got the victory. This is the second title of the season and it gives me confidence to face the European Tour." Juan commented on his Facebook page.

Another VCORE player, Angelique Kerber (VCORE 100S) won her second WTA title at the e-Boks Open in Copenhagen, Denmark. #2 seed Angelique faced #1 seed and defending champion, Caroline Wozniacki (VCORE 100S) in the final. Caroline led the first set 4-3 and 4-1 in the second, however, Angelique showed amazing performance to win both of them and triumphed the title.

In the women’s doubles final, Japan’s Kimiko Date-Krumm (S-FiT) and Rika Fujiwara (S-FiT) won the title after defeating Sofia Arvidsson and Kaia Kanepi, 6-2 4-6 10-5.
