On the third day of the Australian Open, No. 8 seed Stanislas Wawrinka (VCORE Tour G) progressed to the next round unwaveringly defeating Alejandro Falla of Colombia 6-3, 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-4.
Since qualifying for the World Tour Finals, Stan has played with confidence placing him at number 8 in the world last year. He will face No. 28 seed Vasek Pospisil of Canada in the third round.
