In singles, top-seeded Anastasija Sevastova (LAT) and third-seeded Steve Johnson (USA) won titles at the BRD Bucharest Open and Dell Technologies Hall of Fame Open, respectively, while Julio Peralta (CHL) claimed his fifth title in men’s doubles at the SkiStar Swedish Open.

In Bucharest, Sevastova faced Petra Martic (CRO) in the finals, who defeated her in straight sets in their only previous meeting last year. After a highly contested first set, Sevastova's 30 winners carried her to a 7-6 (4), 6-2 victory and her third career WTA title.

Meanwhile, at the Hall of Fame Open, Johnson faced first-time finalist, Ramkumar Ramanathan, on a rainy Sundayafternoon in Newport, R.I. Johnson held every one of his service games en route to the finals and had not lost more than three games in any set. However, Ramanathan was able to push Johnson to a 7-5 first set and broke him for the first time all tournament in the second. Although, in the end, Johnson was able to use his experience to pull out a three-set, 7-5, 3-6, 6-2, for his second title of the year.

Finally, in Sweden, Peralta and partner Horacio Zeballos (ARG) breezed past the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini 6-3, 6-4 to lift their fifth team title.
