Career
She made her professional debut in 2021. She won her first professional title on the JLPGA lower tour in the same year, and won the 2023 JLPGA regular tour title at the age of 20.
Akie Iwai is a twin sister of Chisato Iwai, and they are playing on the JLPGA Tour as sisters. Like the Korda and Jutanugarn sisters, they are expected to play at the highest level in the world.
