Italian Camila Giorgi is known for her powerful, flat groundstrokes and aggressive playstyle. She made her Grand Slam debut in 2011 and cracked the WTA top-100 the following year.

The biggest win of Giorgi's career came at the 2021 Canadian Open, where she won her first WTA 100 event, defeating three top-20 players en route to the title.

Giorgi is coached by her father and wears apparel designed by her mother.
