Jaume Rockets into the Roland Garros Semifinal

YONEX player Jaume Antoni Munar Clar (EZONE Ai 100, PTGP125) has made it into the semifinal of the Roland Garros’ boy’s singles tournament. He’s rocketed past every single one of his opponents, taking every match in straight sets. June 5, 2014, the 12th day of the tournament, Jaume came out victorious against No. 14 seeded Marcelo Zormann of Brazil. In a big upset, Marcelo actually won against No. 3 seeded Karen Khachanov in his previous match. Despite Marcelo’s victory, young Jaume was able to take his match against the strong player confidently, nabbing five break points, landing 72% of his first serve points, and snatching up four aces. The final score was 6-1 6-2.



Jaume goes up against No. 5 seeded Quentin Halys of France in the semifinal match.
