One of the Asian Tour events, King’s Cup was held at Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club, Thailand from November 29th to December 2nd. YONEX professional Mardan Mamat of Singapore had played to compete for the title throughout the event.
The Singapore’s No.1 golfer made a great start to have 10 birdies and one bogey, 63 in the first round. Then Mardan regained the lead with a 6-under-par 66 in the third round after he carded a 70 to take a second place on the second day. Starting as a leader in the final round, the 45-year-old veteran shot a 68 and finished with total of 20-under-par 268. In this season, there are last two events of Asian Tour. Mardan aims to capture a title at the chances.
