With the new VCORE Xi, Argentina Juan Monaco counted the fourth ATP World Tour title in 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.
After defeating No. 3 seed Kei Nishikori by 6-2 2-6 7-6(4) in the semifinals, No. 2 seed Juan faced No. 7 seed Julien Benneteau of France. It was the tough match and took over three hours to finish. During such a match, Juan kept aggressive performance to make 20 break chances and finally he achieved 5 breaks to overcome the opponent. The score was 7-5 4-6 6-3.

Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber started to use the new VCORE Xi 100 since the beginning of Toray Pan Pacific Japan Open. Angelique reached the last 4 with her new VCORE Xi racquet. It was the 10th time for Angelique to advance to the semifinals in 2012’s WTA tournaments.
