2021 Swiss Open: Ruud wins back-to-back titles

GSTAAD, Switzerland – [3] Casper Ruud [NOR] won his third ATP title of the season and second in as many weeks with a straight-set victory over Hugo Gaston in the finals of the Swiss Open.

This was Ruud’s 7th-straight victory after winning the Swiss Open in Nordea last weekend. It was also Ruud’s 24th win on clay in 2021, which leads the Tour.

"When you win a tournament, you have to beat many good players on the way, and it was the same this week," said Ruud. "Every match was good and every match I played well.”

Ruud moves to 9th place in the FedEx ATP Race to Turin, where the top-8 players compete in the year-end championship.
