New POWER CUSHION FUSIONREV 3 tennis shoes release in late September, combine the perfect level of fit and comfort

Yonex Co., Ltd. is proud to announce POWER CUSHION FUSIONREV 3tennis shoes, equipped with new Power Cushion® Plus shock-absorbing material, and providing a fit that feels like a perfect union between foot and shoe, releasing from late September.

The third installment of the FUSIONREV series, highly praised for their comfortable fit, is equipped with Yonex’s most effective Power Cushion Plus technology. The shock-absorbing, resistant Power Cushion material, offering spring and reducing fatigue — and which can bounce an egg dropped from a seven-meter height without breaking it* — has been refined and further improved to Power Cushion Plus, producing 25% more shock absorbancy**, 12% more resistance***, and further reducing fatigue and improving sprinting ability.

Additionally, the newly designed Flexion Upper features a shoelace placement designed to avoid putting pressure on the navicular and cuneiform bones like most shoes tend to do. The Inner Boot Structure with a flexible tongue also snugly wraps the instep, and combines with the Flexion Upper to produce an improved fit, creating a perfect union of foot and shoe.

INNOVATION

Power Cushion Plus, a new formulation and redesign of Yonex’s original shock-absorbing material
The shock-absorbing, resistant Power Cushion material, able to bounce an egg dropped from a seven-meter height without breaking it, offers spring and reduces fatigue. Power Cushion Plus, treated with a special high-resistance resin and redesigned with plus-shaped treads featuring optimum placement and depth, retains the original lightweight quality of Power Cushion while offering 25% more shock absorbency and 12% more resistance.

New Flexion Upper design reduces pressure from shoelaces
Shoelaces are placed to avoid putting pressure on the navicular and cuneiform bones that typically happens in shoes. Pressure is reduced by dispersing it around the entire foot, yielding a more comfortable, uniform fit.

Inner Boot Structure wraps the foot in flexible material from metatarsal to heel
The Inner Boot Structure combines a tongue that snugly wraps the instep from the shoe opening. The foot is wrapped in flexible material from metatarsal to heel, producing a gentler fit.
