YONEX women players, Wimbledon 2012 semifinalist Angelique Kerber (VCORE Xi 100) plays as No. 7 seed, Caroline Wozniacki (VCORE Xi 100) as No. 9, Maria Kirilenko (EZONE Xi 98, PTGP125) as No. 10, Ana Ivanovic (EZONE Xi 98) as No. 12, and Sabine Lisicki (VCORE Tour 97, PTGSPN) as No. 23.
Local British YONEX player Elena Baltacha (VCORE Xi 100) gained direct entry as the wild card, Baltacha will be sporting the breathable white dress (TW3767EX) from the YONEX collection during the tournament. Japanese YONEX player Go Soeda (VCORE Xi 98, PTGSPN) swept battled through the qualifying round to secure a spot at Wimbledon for the fourth consecutive time.
