She started snowboarding at the age of three, influenced by her father, and made her competition debut in a halfpipe competition while still in preschool. She started to ride as a professional snowboarder at the age of 12 and achieved impressive results in various competitions. During the 2021-22 season at the World Cup in Mammoth, she triumphed over her older sister, Sena Tomita, whom she had been following. At the Beijing Olympics, she made her debut and finished in fifth place. Always smiling and uplifting those around her, she is a driven rider who, despite her remarkable fifth-place finish at the Beijing Olympics, feels a sense of disappointment and works hard to improve, demonstrating a competitive spirit that is truly captivating.
