Clay often brings out the best in Tomas Martin Etcheverry. In 2023, the Argentine reached his first two ATP finals at clay-court tournaments in Santiago and Houston, and he also appeared in his first Grand Slam quarter-final on the Roland-Garros clay. With his ability to play on all surfaces, he has been as high as No. 30 in the ATP Rankings.
