Maiko Wakabayashi wins Nishijin Ladies Classic

"YONEX player Maiko Wakabayashi wins her first title since 2008 at Nishijin Ladies Classic in Kumamoto, Japan.



On the final day, Maiko started playing as a tied leader at 4-under. She finished with 4 birdies and 1 bogey for a 3-under-par final round of 69 to become the winner of the tournament.

This is the second title of Maiko’s career following her win at the Sankyo Ladies Open in 2008.

YONEX player Bo-Mee Lee finished tied for 5th place.
