New traditions at the historic All England Open

BIRMINGHAM, England – The prestigious YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships, following up the YONEX French Open, is set to kick off on Tuesday, March 12th. This year marks the 125th year since the commencement of the All England Open. As a part of the overall rebranding for the timeless event, the YONEX All England Open unveiled never-before-seen gray courts. This new addition will be used in years to come, cementing the exhilerating experience that is the YONEX All England.

 

Notable players include world no.1 ranked athletes such as, men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty (IND), women’s doubles pair Chen Qing Chen and Jia Yi Fan (CHN) and mixed doubles pair Zheng Si Wei and Huang Ya Qiong (CHN). Last year’s 2023 All England singles champions, Li Shi Feng (CHN) and An Se Young (KOR), will be back fighting for a consecutive win this year along with their fierce competition.
