Victories at Syed Modi International Badminton Championships in India

Indian badminton player Pusarla V. Sindhu won the women’s singles title at her hometown tournament, the Syed Modi International Badminton Championships, with the new DUORA Z-STRIKE.



No. 1 seed at the tournament, Pusarla blazed through all of her matches in straight sets. She met Indonesia’s Gregoria Mariska (NANORAY 900) in the final, earning a straight 21-13 21-14 win.

Danish doubles pairs also proved strong at the tournament, with Mathias Boe (DUORA 10)/Carsten Mogensen (VOLTRIC 70 E-tune) and Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DUORA 10)/Christinna Pedersen (DUORA 7) seeded at No. 1 in their respective disciplines, both teams coming out victorious in the end. Mathias and Carsten defeated Yang Po Han (VOLTRIC Z-FORCE II) and Lu Ching Yao 21-14 21-15, while Kamilla and Christinna came out on top over local pair Reddy N Sikki (NANORAY 900) and Ashwini Ponnappa, 21-16 21-18.
